Hello and thank you for your interest in my work! My name is Cynthia Mulvaney and I am an award-winning professional portrait painter with over 30 years filled with the joy of painting people and pets. There's nothing I would enjoy more than capturing your animal, with all its special beauty and personality in a portrait of your choice in sizes and mediums. The paintings you see displayed here are all oils on canvas. I do also offer watercolor portraits on paper as well as drawings in charcoal or colored pencil. My work has been featured in print and on television; in such magazines as "Cat Fancy" and the show "Must Love Cats". My work is included in many private as well as public collections, including some celebrity pet owners!

Oil portraits begin at $100 and may include you, the pet parents, other pet siblings.. and that includes animals of all kinds! From dogs to cats, your pet turtle or fish, horses, emus, giraffes, whatever your favorite animal is... even extinct ones! PLEASE BE AWARE that my work is legitimate oil painting, an original work of art created specially for you. Many 'pet portrait companies' you see online are 'photoshopping' your pet's image onto a digital background..there's nothing 'special' or 'original' about that! As the old masters painted for their clients, an original oil painting is the most personal, meaningful and elegant way to show your love for your special family member and friend.
